System Requirements

Supported operating systems:

- Windows 11
- Windows 10
- Windows 8.1
- Windows 7 (with Service Pack 1)

Note: It's highly recommended to make sure that your computer has the latest updates available through Windows Update.

Hardware requirements:

- Intel or AMD CPU
- 2GB of RAM
- 1GB of free disk space
- DirectX 9.0c (or later) compatible display adapter with properly working display driver
- NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel Graphics

FOR MAC USERS

Supported: Macs running the Windows operating system. This includes MacBooks, iMacs, Mac Pros, and Mac minis produced from 2007 and later.

Not supported: iPads and iPhones. These devices can only run the iOS operating system which is not supported.

For Macs produced from 2020 and later (Apple silicon - M1, M2, M3, etc):

Macs that use Apple-designed processors can run Windows via Parallels Desktop or VMware Fusion virtualization software. This allows you to run Awning Composer (and other Windows applications) from within the macOS environment.

For Macs produced from 2007 to 2020 (Intel CPU):

There are two ways to run Awning Composer on a Mac with an Intel processor, both of which are officially supported by Apple:

Use Apple's Boot Camp utility to run both macOS and Windows on the Mac. You can choose which operating system to use when starting the computer. The computer must be running Windows in order to use Awning Composer.
Use virtualization software such as Parallels Desktop or VMware Fusion. This allows you to run Awning Composer (and other Windows applications) from within the macOS environment.
